The Let's Go Buggin Night Walk in Cairns Botanic Gardens is a two-hour guided tour led by photographer Bridgette. The tour focuses on observing the small creatures active after dark within the gardens. It is limited to a maximum of four participants to maintain a small group setting. Throughout the walk, Bridgette provides expert photography advice and personalized assistance for those interested in improving their skills, though taking photos is optional. The route may change depending on seasonal conditions, and water stations are available along the way. Camera hire is offered in beginner, intermediate, and professional options, which must be reserved after booking by contacting the operator; payment is made on the day of the tour. The walk is not suitable for children under eight years old or guests with limited mobility due to uneven terrain. Booking options include premium (adults-only) and family groups, and private walks can be arranged for guests with accessibility needs. Wildlife sightings vary by season and cannot be guaranteed.

The walk starts on the boardwalk following a path adjusted for the season. The guide directs visitors to host plants and habitats where nocturnal animals are most active. Participants may stop at each observation point as long as they wish. Photography advice is offered on site. Commonly observed creatures include frogs, huntsman spiders, net-casting spiders, stick insects, garden orb-weavers, various bugs, and beetles. Depending on the season, visitors might see geckos, snakes, eels in the garden waterways, as well as striped possums, Papuan frogmouths, and speckled flying foxes. The tour finishes at the main entrance where the guide remains available for questions.
