This 4 to 5-hour tour starts with hotel pickup from most Cancun hotels, as well as from locations in Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen. Guests are transported to a private marina in Punta Sam, Cancun, where a light breakfast is served. After breakfast, participants board the boat and travel to the Whale Shark protected area. There, each person completes two to three snorkeling sessions in pairs, always accompanied by a professional, certified bilingual guide. National Geographic-certified snorkeling gear is provided and sterilized for use. Following the whale shark snorkeling encounter, the boat proceeds to Isla Mujeres to Playa Norte beach. At Playa Norte, guests have about 50 minutes to snorkel further or relax on the beach. During this stop, the crew serves fish ceviche and snacks. After the visit to Playa Norte, the boat returns to the marina in Cancun. From there, air-conditioned vans transfer guests back to their hotels or condos. Bottled water and soft drinks are included throughout the tour. Participants should note that the dock fee and Marine Park Federal Tax are not included in the price. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and pregnant women are not allowed due to safety and federal regulations. A vegetarian option is available if requested at booking. Guests should bring a swimsuit and dress casually.
