Overview

This half-day tour in Cape Town lasts about four to five hours and offers an uncovered view of the city combined with a visit to Table Mountain. The tour begins with hotel pickup and travel to the lower cable car station of Table Mountain. Guests take a rotating cable car ride lasting about three minutes to reach the summit. Upon arrival, a guide leads a 30-minute walk on the mountain, followed by free time to explore or visit the café. After descending, the tour continues to Signal Hill for a 30-minute stop, where visitors can see Table Mountain in the background and may observe paragliders on sunny days. Next is a 15-minute stop at Camp's Bay Beach, where guests can leave the vehicle to photograph the beach and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. The tour then stops briefly at Maidens' Cove in Clifton for photos of the Atlantic Ocean and mountain views. The route passes through Bantry Bay, a wealthy suburb formerly called Botany Bay, and continues to Sea Point, known for its high-rise buildings and a five-kilometer promenade popular for jogging and cycling; this is also where paragliders from Signal Hill land. The bus then visits Bo-Kaap, a historic Cape Georgian neighborhood with cobbled streets and brightly colored houses, where guests spend about 30 minutes. The tour proceeds through Cape Town Central, passing landmarks such as the Convention Centre, Castle of Good Hope, District Six Museum, Parliament, Slave Lodge, Company Gardens, and St. George's Cathedral. The final stop is the Cape Town Diamond Museum, where visitors spend about 20 minutes learning about South Africa’s diamonds and the rare Tanzanite stone. The tour includes bottled water, hotel pickup and drop-off, air-conditioned transport, a driver-guide, and fuel surcharge. Tickets for the Table Mountain cable car are not included and should be purchased in advance to avoid lines.
