Book on Viator Confirmed right away, but you pay full price.€360This day tour focuses on the island of Capri, beginning with a fast ferry ride from either Naples or Sorrento. The tour starts at the main port of arrival - Molo Beverello in Naples or Marina Piccola in Sorrento - where participants meet the guide and board a shuttle minibus. The first stop is the Blue Grotto, a sea cave known for its striking blue light effects visible when sea conditions allow. If the grotto is closed due to rough waters, a shared boat ride around the island is provided instead. Next, the tour visits Anacapri, the island’s second-largest town. Visitors can either walk through the village or take a chairlift to Monte Solaro, the highest point on the island, for wide views of the surrounding gulf. The stop here lasts about two hours, allowing time to explore or relax. Then the group proceeds to Capri town and its central square, La Piazzetta, known for its cafes and shops. Guests may also visit the Augustus Gardens if they choose. The final stop is Marina Grande, where there may be some free time near the beach before returning by ferry to the original departure point. The entire tour lasts about nine hours. Included are a local guide, round-trip fast ferry tickets, shuttle bus transport on the island, Blue Grotto admission, and port pickup and drop-off. Food, drinks, tips, and hotel transfers are not included.
