This hiking tour follows the Classic 4-Day Inca Trail route from Cusco to Machu Picchu. The tour lasts about 96 hours and includes camping with two people per four-man Eureka tent. Each day features guided trekking with at least one guide supporting the group to maintain safety and pace. Participants receive a briefing the evening before the trek at 6 pm in the operator’s office. Meals are provided throughout the trek including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Drinking water is supplied along the trail, and portable chemical toilets are available exclusively for the group. A personal porter carrying up to 7 kilograms per person is included. The operator provides safety equipment such as a first aid kit, oxygen tank, and satellite phone. On the last day, the tour includes entrance to Machu Picchu and a return trip on an Expeditions tourist class train. For bookings from March 2026, the return train is the Vistadome experience. Sleeping bags, trekking poles, and air mats are not included but can be rented. Tips and travel insurance are also excluded. Participants should have moderate physical fitness and no serious health conditions. The tour requires at least two people per booking.
