The tour visits the Clearwater Family's working farm at Cape Saunders, traveling through backcountry and coastal inlets to reach private beaches and wildlife reserves. From two viewing points overlooking the Pacific Ocean, guests can see a breeding colony of New Zealand fur seals and various seabirds. The guide then leads the group to a native conservation area where yellow-eyed penguins and New Zealand sea lions breed. Several hides and secluded spots provide opportunities to observe these rare species in their natural habitats along an untouched beach. The tour includes the use of high quality binoculars, wind and rainproof jackets, air-conditioned transport, water, and cookies.
