The PADI Discover Scuba Diving includes theory covering diving physiology and SCUBA equipment overview before basic skills training in shallow water where participants can stand. A 10-minute boat ride then leads to a coral garden dive site under a PADI instructor's supervision. The maximum depth is 40 feet, with the bottom starting at 25 feet along the mooring line. Dive duration varies based on air consumption, averaging 43 minutes.
