This 3-hour rafting trip takes place on the Nenana River, which forms the natural boundary of Denali National Park. The trip follows the river’s Wilderness Wave section, offering a rafting experience along this part of the park’s edge. A professional river guide leads the trip and provides all necessary gear, including a drysuit, personal flotation device, helmet, paddle if needed, and river shoes. Transportation to and from the river is included, as well as a secure place to store personal belongings during the trip. Participants float through the river’s natural surroundings, with opportunities to observe wildlife from the water. Warm, non-cotton base layers such as polyester or wool long johns should be worn underneath the drysuit and are not provided. Infants are not permitted on this trip.
