Overview

This four-hour desert safari near Doha includes both sunset and sunrise experiences, camel riding, sand boarding, and a visit to the Inland Sea. The tour begins with a stop at the Sealine area, where the vehicle's tires are deflated to prepare for dune bashing. Visitors spend about 15 to 20 minutes here visiting Bedouin tents, riding camels, and seeing falcons, with opportunities for photography. After this, the safari continues with dune bashing across large sand dunes. The next stop is at the singing dunes, named for the sound the wind makes as it passes over the peaks; here, travelers take a short break. Following that, the tour moves to the highest dunes for about 30 minutes of sand boarding, where participants slide down the slopes and enjoy the views. The final stop is the Inland Sea, also known as Khor Al Adaid, where the desert meets the sea and the Saudi Arabian border is visible. Visitors have about 25 minutes to relax and take in the surroundings. Throughout the tour, bottled water, sandboards, tea, coffee, and air conditioning in the vehicle are provided.

Dismantling of the stadium began after the events, marking it as the first temporary stadium in FIFA World Cup history.

Al Janoub Stadium

Al Janoub Stadium was the second stadium completed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after Khalifa International Stadium’s renovation. Its roof design was inspired by traditional dhow boat sails used by local pearl divers along the Persian Gulf.
