Overview

This desert safari in Doha lasts about 4 hours and takes place in a 4x4 vehicle with a licensed driver. The tour begins near Mesaieed, where you will pass an oil refinery and stop to ride a camel. During this stop, the driver will deflate the tires to prepare for the desert terrain, and you can enjoy local tea or coffee. Next, the safari continues to Khor Al Udaid Beach, an area known for its large dunes reaching up to 40 meters high beside the ocean. Here, you can try dune bashing across the sand dunes, sandboarding, and relax while watching the sea waves during high tide. There is also an opportunity to swim near the sandy eastern beach. The standard tour includes dune bashing, a camel ride, sandboarding, bottled water, tea and coffee, and round-trip transport with air conditioning in the vehicle. If you select the option with quad biking, you will also take part in a guided quad bike ride in a designated desert area. Quad biking is fully the participant’s responsibility, including any injury or damage caused. The company provides insurance for the other activities but not for quad biking.
