by Gulf Desert Rose Travel Tourism
This four-hour desert safari starts with pickup from a location in Doha such as a hotel, port, or airport, followed by a 50-minute drive to the desert. The first stop is at a camel area where guests take a 10-minute camel ride, see traditional Bedouin tents, have tea, and can use restroom facilities. Next, the tour continues with dune bashing in a private 4x4 vehicle. The first desert stop is the Picture Dune, where guests can take photos of the desert landscape. The safari then proceeds to Khor Al Udeid Beach, also called the Inland Sea, located on Qatar's border with Saudi Arabia. Here, guests can try sandboarding on the dunes. On the return trip, there is a stop to watch the sunset over the dunes before returning to the original Doha pickup point. Included in the tour are private transportation, a short camel ride, insurance, onboard WiFi, sandboarding, and tea and coffee.
