This guided walking food tour in downtown Seoul focuses on the city's culinary and market culture. The tour lasts about three hours and includes visits to several notable landmarks such as N Seoul Tower, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namdaemun Market, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwanghwamun Gate, and Changdeokgung Palace. Along the route, the guide leads guests through lesser-known alleyways and backstreets where local foods are sampled. Participants will taste over eight local dishes during the tour. Included are minced fish fillets served with fish soup, freshly prepared kimbap and sweet and salty cream bread, mung bean pancakes paired with sweet onions, Korean honey snack and grilled rice cake served with traditional tea, mandu (Korean dumplings), slightly spicy tteokbokki (rice cakes), and a special secret dish provided by the guide. The walk covers both food tastings and sightseeing of historic sites. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Gratuities are also not covered. The tour emphasizes walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Pets are not allowed on the food tours. Gyeongbokgung Palace
The main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty, built in 1395 and situated in northern Seoul.
Namdaemun Market
The oldest and largest traditional market in Korea, located beside the Great South Gate (Namdaemun), the main southern gate of the old city.
Bukchon Hanok Village
A traditional Korean village positioned on a hilltop between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace, and Jongmyo Royal Shrine with a long history.

The largest and main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Changdeokgung Palace
One of the Five Grand Palaces built by Joseon dynasty kings, situated within a large park in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

We will meet outside between Exits 7 and 8, in front of the Police office.
