Overview

The morning begins with a pickup from Dubai hotels in a luxury Land Rover Defender between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. Guests are driven to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where they receive a traditional Sheila or Ghutra headscarf. At a secluded, sustainably-built camp among the dunes, breakfast prepared by a Michelin-starred chef is served, with dishes inspired by air, water, earth, and fire. There is an optional short camel ride around the oasis to view the desert from a different perspective. After breakfast, a professional conservation guide leads a nature drive through the reserve in the Land Rover Defender. The tour includes wildlife spotting such as Arabian oryx and sand gazelles and a visit to an exclusive Royal lake. The guide shares information about the desert ecosystem and conservation efforts. The tour lasts about five hours, and after the drive, guests are returned to their hotels by around midday. The package includes breakfast at the Platinum Camp, all national park fees, hotel pickup and drop-off in the Land Rover Defender, and the nature safari with the conservation guide. Gratuities are not included. This morning drive requires a minimum of two guests and may offer guides in several languages upon request.
