Overview

This Dubai desert safari takes place in the Lahbab Desert, known for its red sand dunes. The 6 to 7-hour tour starts with hotel pickup in Dubai or Sharjah, followed by a drive through the desert outskirts and city landmarks to the desert meeting point. After a short break and tire deflation, the main activity begins with a 30 to 40-minute dune bashing ride in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, where the driver navigates steep dunes and valleys. Guests can also try sandboarding on the dunes and have the option to rent quad bikes or buggies. The tour includes a short camel ride that can be repeated, along with opportunities to photograph in local costume. After dune bashing, the group moves to a Bedouin-style desert camp where Arabic coffee, tea, and snacks are served. Visitors can relax in the shisha area, have henna tattoos applied, and enjoy live entertainment shows featuring belly dancing, the Tanoura dance, and a fire show. Dinner is a buffet with barbecue options including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, salads, and Arabic desserts. Unlimited beverages are included. The tour concludes with a return drop-off to the hotel by an English-speaking safari guide. Optional extras such as quad biking rentals, falcon photography, and longer camel rides are available but not included.
