The Dubai Desert Safari lasts about seven to eight hours and begins with hotel pickup in a 4x4 vehicle. The first activity is dune bashing, where an expert driver takes guests over high desert dunes in a thrilling 4x4 SUV ride. After dune bashing, guests can try sandboarding on the soft sand hills. Next, a camel ride is offered to explore the desert landscape, with the option to ride more than once for extra fun. There is a stop to take photos of the sunset over the golden dunes. The tour then moves to a Bedouin-style camp where a traditional Arabic welcome is given, including Arabic coffee, dates, and Emirati sweets. At the camp, guests can enjoy unlimited buffets featuring a full BBQ dinner with Middle Eastern dishes, including vegetarian and Jain meal options. Snacks such as shawarma and falafel are also served. Unlimited water, tea, coffee, and soft drinks are available during the meal. Additional activities at the camp include free sandboarding, henna painting, shisha, and restroom facilities. ATV quad bike riding is included and takes place within a fenced area. Evening entertainment features traditional performances such as belly dancing, the spinning Tanoura dance, and a live fire show; however, the belly dancing show is not performed during Ramadan. The tour concludes with hotel drop-off. All admission fees are included, but souvenirs, alcohol, fruit juices, and some other drinks are not included. Tipping is optional and can be paid directly to the guide.
