Overview

This e-bike tour offers two route options to explore Kyoto’s key sights with electric pedal assistance to handle the city’s gentle hills. The East Side course lasts about three and a half hours and includes stops at Ginkakuji Temple with its renowned zen gardens, the Heian Shrine featuring a large garden with three ponds, and a ride along the Philosopher's Walk beside a canal lined with greenery. The longer West Side route runs about six hours and visits Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion), and Ryoanji Rock Garden. Both tours use e-bikes that provide pedal support to make riding easier. The tour includes e-bike rental, entrance or facility fees, and a guide. Lunch is not included.
