Overview

This full-day coach tour lasts about 12 and a half hours and departs from Edinburgh to explore key locations in the Scottish Highlands. The route passes Linlithgow Palace, known as Mary Queen of Scots' birthplace, the Kelpies sculptures, and Stirling Castle. The tour continues north to Glencoe, where there is a photo stop at the Three Sisters ridges. After this, the group stops near Fort William for about an hour to have lunch. The journey then moves through the Great Glen, passing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. The tour reaches Fort Augustus, a small village where guests may take an optional boat cruise on Loch Ness or spend over an hour walking around and having coffee. On the return trip, the coach stops in Pitlochry for light refreshments and a break before crossing the Firth of Forth near the Forth Rail Bridge on the way back to Edinburgh. Included are regular photo and rest stops, air conditioning on the vehicle, and an English-speaking driver guide. Food, drinks, admission fees, and hotel pickups are not included. The boat cruise is unavailable on February 18th and March 6th.
