Overview

This 90-minute guided tour begins with a climb up 674 steps from the ground to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, following the route originally intended by Gustave Eiffel. A guide accompanies the group inside the tower, providing information about its engineering, design, and history. The climb includes a stop on the first floor to see a preserved spiral staircase and to stand on the glass floor section. On the second floor, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Paris landmarks such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Montmartre, and the Seine from the observation areas. After the guided portion, visitors may remain on the second floor for as long as they wish. If the optional summit lift access is selected, participants take a glass-walled elevator from the second floor to the summit. At the summit, there is a restored office featuring wax figures of Claire and Thomas Edison, along with historical exhibits. A champagne bar is available for drinks, which are not included. Tower regulations require visitors with summit access to go directly to the top before returning to lower levels. Security checks may take up to an hour during busy times. The tour does not include skip-the-line entry, hotel transfers, or food and drinks. The summit may close unexpectedly, and in that case, a partial refund is provided for summit access.

If summit access is booked, take a glass elevator from the second floor to the top, visit Gustave Eiffel's restored office with wax figures of Claire and Thomas Edison, and view historical exhibits. Drinks at the champagne bar are available but not included. Rules require going directly to the summit from the second floor before returning to lower floors.
