This two-hour surf lesson takes place on the sandy beach of Essaouira, Morocco, where the waves are usually small, making it suitable for beginners. The lesson is led by a local surfer who guides participants through the basics of surfing in a safe environment. Wetsuits are provided for use during the session. Essaouira-beach-surf-lesson
Essaouira beach is an exposed beach break with reliable surf suitable for surfing any time of the year. All necessary equipment will be provided. The lesson starts with 10 minutes of exercises to warm up muscles and teach the principles of surfing, including the take-off on the board to catch and stand on the surfboard. Afterwards, instruction continues in the water until the participant can catch and ride a wave. This is a 100% surfing and chilling experience.
