It begins at the Accademia Gallery, where guests receive skip-the-line tickets and a guided visit led by a licensed art historian. The guide focuses on Michelangelo’s David and other Renaissance masterpieces by artists such as Botticelli and Giambologna. Groups larger than five use earphones to hear the guide clearly. After the Accademia visit, guests may choose from several optional combo tours that add a second guided activity. Combo options include a city walking tour covering Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria, and the Ponte Vecchio; a Wine Windows tour featuring a glass of Tuscan wine served through a buchetta del vino; a climb of Brunelleschi’s Dome with access to the Duomo terraces; an Arno River boat tour passing under the Ponte Vecchio on a traditional barchetto; or a Uffizi Masterclass. Each combo tour has a specific start time and a second meeting point, which guests must reach independently. The first meeting point for all tours is the Accademia Gallery Ticket Office at Via Ricasoli 58/60. Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts at each meeting point. Large bags, umbrellas, and liquids are not allowed inside the museums. After the guided Accademia visit, guests may remain inside the museum to explore on their own.
