The day begins with hotel pickup at 7:30 AM, followed by transportation in an air-conditioned minivan to the Mistico Hanging Bridges. From about 8 AM to 11 AM, guests walk through the rainforest on trails that showcase local plants and wildlife. Afterward, the group travels to La Fortuna Waterfall, where there is a hike down to the base. Visitors have about two hours, from 11 AM until 1:30 PM, to enjoy the waterfall and swim in the natural pool. Lunch is provided for one hour before the final part of the tour. Starting at 2:30 PM, the guide leads a walk around the base of Arenal Volcano along trails that offer several viewpoints.
