This tour offers about five hours of extreme white water rafting on the Sarapiqui River near La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The rafting section includes over two hours of continuous Class IV and III rapids, providing a thrilling experience for participants. The river passes through a protected area designated as a Natural Monument of Costa Rica, known for its natural environment and cultural significance. Along the riverbanks, rafters may see wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, and toucans. The surrounding region includes the 3,739-hectare La Selva Biological Station, a major neotropical ecological research and conservation site managed by the Organization for Tropical Studies. The tour includes transportation from hotels located within six kilometers of the main office, with pickup times that can vary by up to twenty minutes depending on the hotel's location. Included in the tour are fresh fruit, bottled water, towels, lunch, and guidance from a professional rafting guide. Souvenir photos are available for purchase but are not included in the price. Participants must be at least twelve years old, able to swim, and in good physical condition. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A vegetarian lunch option is available if requested at the time of booking. This activity is not recommended for individuals with obesity or those weighing over 120 kilograms (260 pounds).

INCLUDES: fruit on the river ,towels, water and a delicious Costa Rican lunch "Casado" and PURA VIDA time. DEPARTS: every day at 08:30 until 14:30 WHAT TO BRING: Changing clothes, clothes to get wet, tennis shoes or water shoes.
