Overview

This full-day beginner scuba course with private tuition takes place at Koh Racha Yai, starting with a hotel pickup in Phuket. The group size is kept very small, usually one certified dive instructor for two or three participants, and solo travelers can also join. No prior swimming ability or scuba certification is required. The day begins with a detailed safety briefing and instruction on using full scuba gear, including wetsuit, buoyancy control device, mask, regulator, and fins.
