Overview

This 3-hour guided wildlife tour at Freedom Elephant Reserve in Phuket includes a nature walk where visitors spend time with elephants in a natural environment. The tour begins with a 90-minute feeding session. Each guest receives a basket of fruit to feed the elephants at the feeding station. Guests watch the elephants eat at their own pace, using their trunks to bring the fruit to their mouths. During this time, guides provide information about each elephant’s background, lifestyle, and behavior. After feeding, the group walks alongside the elephants to a mud spa area. Here, the elephants rub themselves against mud walls to remove parasites and dead skin. The tour then continues to a river where guests observe the elephants wading, splashing, and cooling off in the water.
