The tour begins by traveling along secondary roads in a jeep to access locations that are often missed by others. The route covers several hot springs and volcanic calderas around Furnas, including stops at a tea plantation, Pico do Ferro viewpoint, Furnas Lake, and the Caldeiras of Furnas. The group then pauses for lunch featuring Cozido, a traditional meal slow-cooked in the geothermal heat for six hours. After lunch, the tour continues to Dona Beija, where guests can swim in thermal pools heated by natural springs (entrance to Terra Nostra Garden is also an option but not included). Additional visits include the Nossa Senhora da Paz chapel, the village of Vila Franca, and finally return to Ponta Delgada.
