Visitors tour two of the six active monasteries depending on their opening schedules. The visit includes a stop at a viewpoint to see the monasteries from above and observe the landscape. Afterward, there is a traditional Greek lunch break in Kastraki, near Kalampaka, with views of Meteora. Departure from Meteora is at about 15:30, followed by a 20-minute coffee and rest stop before returning to Thessaloniki, arriving around 19:00.
