This is a 14-hour day trip from Rome to Tuscany, visiting Pisa and Florence by bus. The trip begins with a four-hour drive from Rome to Pisa. Upon arrival, there is about one hour to explore Piazza dei Miracoli, a green square that includes the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the medieval Duomo di Pisa, also known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin. Visitors can walk around the cathedral and take photos of the Leaning Tower, learning that it started leaning in one direction and then shifted to lean the opposite way. Depending on traffic, some travel within Pisa may require a short train ride, which is not included in the price and requires a separate ticket. After Pisa, the tour continues to Florence, the capital of Tuscany. The first stop is Piazza Santa Croce, where the Gothic Basilica di Santa Croce stands.
