Gettysburg Heritage Center

The Gettysburg Heritage Center provides a two-part self-guided tour that presents the Battle of Gettysburg through the viewpoints of the town and the battlefield. Exhibits include artifacts, historical documents, 3-D productions, and interactive displays that illustrate the experiences of the local people before, during, and after the battle. Visitors learn how the townspeople responded to the battle—whether they froze, fled, or fought—and hear their stories. The center also features a gift shop in the lobby offering books, collectibles, apparel, souvenirs, educational materials, replica weapons, art, home decor, and toys.
