Overview

This half-day bus trip from Paris takes you to the village of Giverny in Normandy, where Claude Monet lived and painted. The journey lasts about one and a half hours each way through the French countryside. Upon arrival, you will begin with a guided or audio-guided tour of Monet’s gardens, including the front gardens, orchards, the water lily pond featured in his Nymphéas series, and the Japanese bridge often seen in his paintings. After the garden tour, there is free time to visit Monet’s house, which remains largely unchanged since his time and contains a notable collection of Japanese engravings. The total tour duration is about five hours and 15 minutes. Round-trip transportation by luxury coach from Paris and entrance tickets to Monet’s house and gardens are included.
