Overview
This glass-bottom boat cruise departs from Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii and lasts about 30 minutes. Passengers board a 26-foot (7.9-meter) boat with shaded bench seating and six large viewing windows. The boat travels over the reefs of Anaeho'omalu Bay, where green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish can be seen among the coral. Onboard marine naturalists provide information about the local marine life and assist with identifying fish and coral during the cruise. Boarding requires walking through shallow water at the shoreline, which may be knee deep depending on ocean conditions. The cruise includes the 30-minute boat ride only and is suitable for families.
