Participants will learn surf theory, board control, and paddling techniques while staying in waist-deep water under the constant supervision of lifeguard-qualified instructors. All necessary equipment is provided, including a surfboard, leg rope, rash vest or wetsuit depending on the season, and sunscreen. The lesson is designed for those new to surfing and guides participants step-by-step until they can stand on the board and catch waves safely.
