This full-day guided tour lasts about seven hours and covers the summits and central upland area of Gran Canaria, including Roque Nublo, Pico de las Nieves, and Bandama. The tour begins at Caldera de Bandama, the island's last active volcano, featuring a crater one kilometer wide and views over the northeast. From there, the route passes through the Santa Brigida wine region within the Middle Mountain Region, known for its green agricultural landscape. A stop in San Mateo offers a chance to see local life; on Saturdays, a traditional market is available. The tour then continues to Pico de las Nieves, the island’s highest summit at 1,949 meters, followed by visits to Roque Bentayga, Cruz de Tejeda, and Roque Nublo, an 80-meter-high volcanic monolith regarded as sacred by pre-Hispanic inhabitants and a symbol of Gran Canaria. Several lookout points along the way provide views over valleys and ravines while the guide explains the area's natural features and history. The tour ends in Villa de Teror, where there is time to visit the Church of the Virgin of El Pino, the island’s patron saint, and free time to walk through the old town or have lunch, which is not included. Groups are limited to 18 people to allow a tailored pace and informative experience.
