Overview

This 5-hour small group bus tour covers Vancouver’s main neighborhoods and landmarks. Starting with pickup from your downtown hotel after 10 AM, the tour travels west to Stanley Park, North America's largest urban park. There, the guide explains the totem poles and the cultural significance of the carvings, as well as pointing out trees over 1,000 years old and historical aspects of the park. From Stanley Park, the route continues through the West End to Shaughnessy to view large historic homes. Then the tour stops at Granville Island Public Market, where guests can have lunch on their own. Afterward, the coach visits the Olympic Village and Yaletown areas, showing a mix of modern and older city sections. Next, the tour explores Vancouver’s Chinatown before arriving in Gastown. The guide shares the story of Gassy Jack and the city's development as a major trading port. If time permits, there is an optional visit to the 238 Flavour Ice Cream Palace called Le Casa. The tour ends with a return to the hotel, during which the guide mentions local restaurants and other activities available in Vancouver. Transport is provided in an air-conditioned Mercedes Benz Sprinter van with a driver-guide. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, but lunch and gratuities are not.
