Overview

The Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona features deep cliffs and wide views of the Colorado River. This full-day bus tour from Las Vegas lasts about 17 to 19 hours and visits three major landmarks in the American Southwest. The tour begins with pickup at either Bellagio Hotel and Casino or Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. After departure, the first stop is Horseshoe Bend, where a 1.2-kilometer sandy trail leads to a viewpoint over the Colorado River, 1,000 feet below the cliff edge. Visitors spend about 40 to 45 minutes walking the trail and photographing the river bend. Next, the tour proceeds to Antelope Canyon on Navajo land, where a local Navajo guide leads a 90-minute walk through either Antelope Canyon X or Lower Antelope Canyon. The guide explains the natural formation of the slot canyon’s narrow sandstone walls and the way sunlight shines through them. The group then travels to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for about 40 minutes of sightseeing at two viewpoints, such as Lipan Point, Bright Angel, or Yavapai Point. There is also time to visit a gift shop. A lunch is included and provided during the park visit. On the return trip, the bus makes a brief stop in Seligman or Williams along historic Route 66 to allow visitors to see the town’s classic Americana atmosphere before heading back to Las Vegas. The entire tour includes round-trip transportation with air conditioning, a guide and driver, admission fees, and lunch. Breakfast and dinner are not included.
