Overview

This small-group bus tour lasts about 11 hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off in Las Vegas. The trip first stops at Hoover Dam for a 20-minute photo break with commentary on the dam and surrounding views. Next, the tour passes through Northern Arizona's high desert, including views of an extinct volcano and a 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest. Upon arrival at Grand Canyon West, guests have around four hours to explore the Hualapai tribal lands. This includes visits to Eagle Point, where they can see Native American dwellings, look for the "eagle in the rock," and shop for handmade crafts. Guests may also walk the glass Skywalk at Eagle Point if they pay the separate admission. The tour also stops at Guano Point, which provides extensive views of the canyon and the Colorado River below, offering several photo opportunities. A lunch is provided at the canyon rim during the visit. For an additional cost, participants can upgrade to a helicopter flight that descends about 4,000 feet to the canyon floor near the Colorado River. This flight uses an EC-130 helicopter and allows time on the canyon floor before returning by air to the rim. Bottled water and a professional guide are included throughout the trip. All fees and taxes are covered except the Skywalk admission and optional gratuities.
