Overview

The tour begins with pickup from the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle driven by a skilled driver. A qualified Egyptologist guide accompanies the group throughout the tour. The first stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, where visitors spend about four hours. The guide starts by explaining the itinerary and the museum’s concept, including the symbolism found at the museum’s gate, the obelisk, the Great Hall, and the grand staircase. These features illustrate connections between ancient religion, kingship, and eternity. The museum contains 12 halls with over 25,000 artifacts covering ancient Egyptian history. For the first time, all treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his golden mask, are displayed together in one place. After the guided introduction, visitors have free time to explore the museum independently. The tour includes a local lunch featuring Egyptian cuisine. Visitors also have time to browse souvenirs and traditional products before returning to the hotel. Transport includes both pickup and drop-off at the hotel. The half-day tour lasts about three to five hours, including travel time. There is an option to extend the tour to a full day by adding a visit to the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. This extension includes panoramic views of the three pyramids, close access to the 4,500-year-old pyramids, entry inside the queen’s pyramid, and a visit to the Great Sphinx statue. Free time for shopping is also part of the full-day itinerary. All entrance fees are included if the all-inclusive option is selected.
