Segovia is known for its Roman aqueduct and medieval architecture. This guided day trip from Madrid lasts about nine hours and includes visits to both Segovia and Avila. Travel by bus with air conditioning from Madrid at 9:30 am to Segovia, arriving around 10:45 am. In Segovia, the tour starts at the Roman Aqueduct and continues through the old Jewish quarter, including the House of Peaks and the Romanesque Church of San Martin. There is an optional 30-minute walk around the historic center to Plaza Mayor and the exterior of the Gothic Cathedral, whose entry is not included. The tour then features a view of the Real Alcázar de Segovia, a former royal fortress, without admission included. After the tour in Segovia, there is one hour of free time for lunch, where participants may choose to try local dishes such as the Segovian suckling pig. The group then meets with the guide to continue to Avila. The main highlight is the medieval city wall, which is about two kilometers long and well-preserved. The day ends with a return bus trip to Madrid, arriving at approximately 6:30 pm. Departure from Madrid

Segovia Historic Center Walk (Optional)
A 30-minute optional walk through Segovia’s cobblestone streets leads to Plaza Mayor. Visitors can view the exterior of the Gothic Cathedral, the last Gothic cathedral built in Spain. Entry to the cathedral is not included.
