This three-hour walking tour covers Dubai Old Town, including local street food tastings and a traditional boat ride on Dubai Creek. The tour begins at the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, where participants spend about twenty minutes exploring narrow alleys and traditional buildings featuring high wind towers made from stone, gypsum, teak, sandalwood, fronds, and palm wood. Next, the group visits the Dubai Museum located in Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest building in Dubai dating from the 1780s. Afterward, the tour continues to the Shiva Temple, a place of worship for Dubai’s Hindu community established in 1958, where the group spends ten minutes. The walk then proceeds to the Textile Souk for about twenty minutes, known for colorful fabrics, shawls, and souvenirs. Following this, the tour explores Al Souk Al Kabir for one hour, a lively market area with art galleries, outdoor restaurants, tea shops, and stalls selling silk and embroidered cushions. At Bur Dubai Abra Station, participants take a traditional ferry boat ride across Dubai Creek lasting about ten minutes. The tour then visits the Spice Souk for twenty minutes, where various spices fill the air, and concludes at the Gold Souk for another twenty minutes, one of the largest gold markets in the world offering a wide selection of jewelry. Throughout the tour, the guide provides historical information and stories. Food tastings include Arabic dishes such as shawarma, falafel, hummus, chicken mandi or madhbi, kunafa, and drinks like Arabic tea, Iranian faluda, and bottled water. Gratuities are not included.
