Overview

The tour starts with a bus pickup from Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00 and 8:40 AM. The group then travels by modern bus for about two and a half hours to Ha Long Bay, including a short rest stop along the way. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Port around noon, participants board a boat for a cruise through Ha Long Bay, passing notable rock formations and islets such as Incense, Bunner, and Cock Fighting Island. A Vietnamese set-menu lunch, including a vegetarian option, is served on the boat during the cruise. After lunch, the tour visits Sung Sot Cave, also called Surprise Cave, the largest and longest cave in Ha Long Bay. Visitors can explore the cave’s stalactites, which have many unique shapes. Next, participants choose between kayaking in pairs or riding a traditional bamboo boat to explore the calm waters around Hang Luon Cave, observing the limestone cliffs and natural surroundings. The boat then sails past Ti Top Island, where travelers can swim at the crescent-shaped beach or hike to the summit for panoramic views of the bay. After some free time to relax, the boat hosts a sunset party with light foods and fruits. The cruise ends with a return bus transfer to Hanoi, arriving at about 9:00 PM. The entire tour lasts approximately 12 hours and 15 minutes and includes all entrance fees, an English-speaking guide, in-vehicle air conditioning, all activities, kayaking or bamboo boat ride, swimming, and a Vietnamese set-menu lunch with a vegetarian option.
