This half-day surf lesson in Byron Bay is a group class led by instructors from Soul Surf School. The lesson lasts about four hours and takes place at one of several beaches around Byron, Lennox Head, or Ballina, depending on wave conditions. The instructors choose the safest and most suitable waves each day to match the group’s skill level. Class sizes are kept small, with no more than seven adults per instructor and four children per instructor, allowing for personalized guidance and safety. The school provides a wide selection of surfboards, including over 80 soft boards that are safe and easy to use, as well as boards for intermediate and advanced surfers to help improve your skills and catch more waves. Participants must be at least 13 years old. All necessary surfing equipment is included in the lesson price.
