This half-day snorkel trip lasts about three and a half hours and explores two reef locations within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. The captain selects the stops based on daily conditions, so specific reefs like Molasses, Elbow, French Reef, or the Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks may be visited, but no particular site is guaranteed. These reefs are part of the third largest living coral reef system in the world and the only one in the United States. During the trip, participants can expect to see marine life such as turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels, and various fish species. Snorkeling equipment, including a snorkel vest and reef safe sunscreen, is provided along with bottled water. Scuba diving is also available on these trips as an option. To reduce plastic waste, guests are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles as water coolers are available on board and at the shop.
