Overview

Passengers board the Hercules cruise at Tuan Chau Marina and start the day with a welcome drink. The cruise boat has three decks, including two ocean-view restaurants serving a buffet lunch with seafood and Vietnamese dishes, including vegetarian options. There is also an upper sundeck for sunbathing and relaxing, plus a jacuzzi pool and indoor activities. The tour lasts about 11 to 12 hours, beginning with hotel pickup in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and a road transfer to Quang Ninh Province. After boarding around midday, the boat sails through Halong Bay, passing limestone formations such as Dog Rock, Incense Burner, and Fighting Cock. The first stop is Sung Sot Cave, where guests spend about an hour exploring one of Halong Bay’s largest caves featuring various stalactites and stalagmites. Next, participants take part in a kayaking or bamboo boat trip at Luon Cave for 45 minutes. Afterward, the cruise stops at Titop Island, where guests can choose to swim at the beach or climb about 300 steps to reach the island’s summit for panoramic views of the bay. Later, a sunset party is held on board with Vietnamese tea, fresh juice, fruit, and small cakes. The cruise returns to the harbor in the early evening, followed by the bus ride back to Hanoi with drop-off at hotels around the Old Quarter. The tour includes entrance fees, a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, onboard insurance, and a comfortable round-trip transfer by bus.
