Overview

This full-day tour from Hanoi lasts about 11 to 12 hours and includes visits to several important sites in Ninh Binh. The day starts with a shuttle bus pickup from hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning. After a transfer of approximately three hours, the tour arrives at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Dai Co Viet in the 10th and 11th centuries. Visitors cycle around the site to see the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, learning about the history of the two kings and the architectural style of the period. Around 11:45, a buffet lunch with local Vietnamese dishes is served at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour continues to Trang An, where a three-hour boat ride on bamboo rowboats explores the grottoes formed by stalactites and surrounded by limestone karsts. Later, the group visits Mua Cave, also known as Dancing Cave. A climb of about 500 stone steps leads to the summit of Ngoa Long mountain, offering panoramic views of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city. The return trip to Hanoi begins around 5:30 pm, with drop-off at the hotel in the Old Quarter between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. The tour includes an English-speaking guide, all entrance fees, buffet lunch, shuttle bus transport, one bottle of water per person on the bus, cycling at Hoa Lu, and the boat tour at Trang An.
