Overview

Forget the traditional opera concert: VOCI D'ITALIA is an immersive and surprising experience that reimagines the greatest masterpieces of Italian and international opera into an emotional, contemporary show. Embark on a unique journey where music, storytelling, and innovation collide, carrying you through the timeless melodies of Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and Rossini, as well as legendary Neapolitan classics like “’O Sole Mio” and “Funiculì Funiculà.” The magic on stage comes to life through a master pianist accompanying two outstanding opera soloists. Because the voices change from evening to evening, ranging from soprano to tenor, and mezzo-soprano to baritone, every single performance becomes an entirely unique and unrepeatable event. Guiding the audience through this fascinating universe is an expert host who, through captivating live narration and light-hearted anecdotes, unlocks the behind-the-scenes secrets, drama, and curiosities of the world's most celebrated operas. This traditional art form is further enhanced by modern technology, as stunning, high-definition projections on a massive LED wall frame the stage to create a truly multisensory environment. The entire experience unfolds inside the magnificent Teatro Nazionale, a historic Florentine cultural landmark located just a short walk from Piazza della Signoria, recently restored to its former glory through an ambitious renovation project led by the internationally renowned architect Marco Casamonti. Ultimately, VOCI D'ITALIA is not just a concert, but a fresh, captivating way to experience the soul of Italy, offering an unforgettable evening where timeless musical heritage meets modern emotion and world-class entertainment.
