The trek lasts about seven days and includes daily health checks to monitor climbers' conditions. Qualified guides with at least eight years of experience and Wilderness First Responder certification lead the climb. They provide information about the mountain’s environment and assist climbers to reach the summit safely. The climb is supported by a mountain crew including guides, chefs, waiters, and porters. All necessary camping equipment is provided such as private tents for climbers, dining tents, crew tents, tables, chairs, mattresses, and utensils. Meals during the trek include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea and coffee. Emergency oxygen cylinders are available on the route as a safety measure. Private transportation is included to and from the trek start point. Pre- and post-hike accommodation in Moshi is not included but can be arranged on request. The guides have extensive experience, having completed the climb over 100 times, offering informed support throughout the trek.
