The tour begins with a walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and a visit to the Nonomiya Shrine. Next, it continues to the Okochi Sanso Garden where guests can rest in the former tea house and have a hot or cold matcha or another drink, included in the tour. The next stop is Tenryu-ji Temple, a Zen Buddhist temple of the Rinzai branch, where visitors explore the temple grounds and see the koi pond. After this, there are two choices. Option A includes a stroll along Arashiyama Shopping Street with help from the guide, viewing the colorful Kimono Forest, crossing Togetsukyo Bridge, and then hiking up to Iwatayama Monkey Park.
