【Nyoirin-ji Temple】 Also known as the Frog God Temple. The temple's architecture is simple and elegant, filled with a strong Zen atmosphere. The main buildings include the Great Buddha Hall, the Zen Hall, and the Sutra Repository. These buildings not only have high historical value but also showcase the aesthetics of traditional Japanese architecture. Since the abbot brought back a jade frog from China, the temple has accumulated 10,000 frog ornaments. 【Mount Yufu Trailhead】 Mount Yufu is located in an active volcanic zone and features unique volcanic terrain. The mountain body is matcha-colored, and the vegetation displays different colors throughout the four seasons. The scenery around the trailhead is beautiful. 【Yufuin】 Combining Ghibli's Japanese fantasy style with English countryside charm, Yufuin is also a famous hot spring resort in Kyushu. The rustic and peaceful town environment and the warm and healthy open-air baths are all part of Yufuin's captivating charm that makes people linger. 【Kinrinko Lake】 Originally named "Gakushita Pond," it was later renamed by Confucian scholar Mori Kuso, who observed the lake surface shimmering like fish scales in the sunset. Its uniqueness lies in the hot spring water gushing from the bottom of the lake, which mixes with the cold external water to create a dreamy landscape shrouded in mist. 【Umi Jigoku & Kamado Jigoku】 Beppu is famous for its hot spring industry, with over 200 public hot springs throughout the city, and the abundance of hot spring sources and the richness of their qualities are among the best in the world. Here, you can also experience Beppu's specialty – Jigoku Mushi (hell steaming), a dish cooked by steaming with the high-temperature steam from the hot springs. It is a unique Beppu dish that maximizes the original flavor of the ingredients.
