Visitors spend about 20 minutes here before continuing south toward the Punta Banda Peninsula at the end of Bahía de Todos Santos. Punta Banda is located 24 miles south of Ensenada in Baja California and is home to La Bufadora, one of the largest marine geysers in North America. At La Bufadora, guests have around 90 minutes to watch the sea water spout, which can reach over 100 feet high as air trapped in a sea cave bursts upward with a loud noise every minute or so. The strength of the waves affects the height and sound of the spout. Visitors can walk around the area for about 20 minutes to view the geyser from different angles and take photos. The site offers views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding landscapes. The tour also includes a visit to a large typical sidewalk market where regional crafts and souvenirs from Baja California and other parts of Mexico are available for purchase. Food and drinks are not included, but there are several seaside restaurants nearby where guests can buy local dishes on their own. After the activities, the vehicle returns to the hotel for drop-off. Located inside the Ensenada Riviera Social, Civic and Cultural Center, this bar features a mural of God Bacchus and decorations recalling the prohibition era. It opened with the Hotel Playa in 1930 and is known as one of the oldest bars in Ensenada. The Margarita cocktail was invented here on August 21, 1948, by David Negrete in honor of Marjorie 'Margarita' King Plant. The bar has its own parking and offers a Margarita promotion every Wednesday.
