Overview

The Lady Enid Sailing and Snorkeling Day Trip from Airlie Beach lasts between nine and eleven hours. The tour begins with an 8:00 AM departure from Coral Sea Marina South. Guests board the classic Australian timber yacht Lady Enid, with a maximum of 24 guests and up to four crew members. During the day, guests may take turns steering the yacht or relax while sailing through the Whitsunday Islands National Park, enjoying views of the surrounding islands. The yacht stops at Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, where visitors have about two hours to swim in the clear waters of Betty's Beach and walk through the bush. Access to the Hill Inlet lookout requires a short dinghy ride followed by a moderate uphill walk on mixed terrain including sand, dirt, stone, and steps. Snorkeling is offered for approximately 45 minutes at the reefs around the islands, with all necessary equipment provided. Meals served onboard include morning tea, a gourmet lunch featuring seasonal fruits, and afternoon tea. On the return journey, guests enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and antipasto while sailing back to port near sunset. Hotel and port pickup and drop-off are available between Jubilee Pocket and Cannonvale. The tour is for adults only and is not suitable for cruise ship passengers or those with limited mobility.
