This half-day bus tour covers the volcanic southern part of Lanzarote, starting with a pickup at your hotel or accommodation. The tour first visits Timanfaya National Park where participants watch three geothermal demonstrations on the Islet of Hilario, showing the earth's heat below the surface. There is time to see El Diablo Restaurant's views and have a coffee. Next, the tour continues on the Route of the Volcanoes with a 30-minute minibus drive through the park’s most protected volcanic area. Visitors remain inside the vehicle but can take photos during stops. Afterward, there is a 30-minute stop at the Castor of Camels to optionally ride camels; payment for this is made directly. Along the Timanfaya coast, there is a panoramic drive past Playa del Janubio and the Salinas. Two photo stops are included: one at Los Hervideros cliffs, where guests can walk and take pictures of the sea crashing against the coast, and another at El Golfo volcano, famous for its green lagoon called Lago Verde or Charco de los Clicos. Finally, the tour ends with a 20-minute stop in La Geria wine region where the guide explains the unique vine planting method and offers a Malvasía wine tasting.
